New StarStore – Év Kereskedője winners and the 2022 award ceremony
This year was the 8th that Trade magazin organised the “Star Store – Év Kereskedője” competition for retailers with a registered seat in Hungary. The award ceremony took place at the gala dinner of Hungary’s biggest FMCG conference, the Business Days in Tapolca, on 22 September 2022.
All kinds of retailers were eligible for entering StarStore – Év kereskedője, from grocery stores through book shops to pharmacies and tobacco shops. This year the jury of experts evaluated more than 30 competition entries, and there was a public’s choice award too. From the StarStore – Év kereskedője winners, the entry with the highest score from panel members became Store of the Year Hungary 2022, while the best retail chain earned the Retailer of the Year 2022 title.
At the Business Days conference in Tapolca, the works were presented on a digital totem pole between 19 and 23 September 2022. For five days the decision-makers of the FMCG market could see the presentations about the competition entries. //
