Awards galore at the 15th POP competition
2024 was an outstanding year in the history of the Hungarian POPAI Awards POP competitions, which have a 15-year tradition.
A large number of entries were exhibited in Tapolca during the 5 days of Trade magazin’s Business Days conference, where the POP tools were juried on 23-27 September. Nearly 200 people evaluated the competition entries and almost three times as many saw them – a new record in the competition.
For the third time in the history of the contest, the entry that received the most votes and won Display of the Year was the one that finished first in the Permanent Installation category: the Coke Creations Oreo display by Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország. The Coca-Cola team walked away with a total of 6 prizes.
In each category the 1st place winners will represent Hungary in the POP World Championship Shop! POPAI Global Awards international competition. The winner of last year’s Display of the Year 2023 in Hungary ceremonially received the Shop! POPAI Global Awards – also known as the “Oscars of POP”: 2-pallet display Coke Creations was a creative collaboration between designer and manufacturer Trusted Implementation and Coca-Cola HBC.
