Baker Association: the Hungarian Food Book should be developed
A growth in consumer awareness and the further development of the Hungarian Food Book is needed – the Baker Association said after negotiations with the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), the National Food Chain Security Agency ( Nébih) on issues related to Albanian bakeries.
According to a joint statement sent to MTI on Monday, participants in the meeting agreed that buyers should be warned that unfair businesses, including Albanian bakeries, will be excluded from the new content and quality standards that came into force this summer that they sell their products as buci instead of bread. And this is not only a competitive advantage, but in many cases they are deceiving consumers – they added. (MTI)
