Italy will be the guest country at Sirha Budapest 2026, as ITA celebrates its 100th anniversary.

The Italian stand will feature 27 food and beverage companies, authentic tastings and presentations, highlighting true Italian gastronomy and taking action against the “Italian sounding” phenomenon.

The 10th Public Sector Catering Competition (KÖSZ 2025–2026) reaches its finals at Sirha Budapest.

The event promotes sustainable mass catering, local ingredients, modern techniques and culinary quality.

Competitors will have three new categories and visitors can join tastings and the public voting.

In 2026 MCI will return to SIRHA Budapest as a strategic professional partner.

In the sixth Pataki János Memorial Competition, pastry chefs will showcase their skills in the categories of cake decorating, confectionery artistry and sugar flowers.

There is also great anticipation surrounding the return of Ice Cream Adventure – Gelato Square will bring the world of ice cream making closer to young people and the traditions of Italian masters.

Our company will exhibit at a stand measuring just under 50m² and weare the only ice cream ingredient manufacturer on the Hungarian market to have been involved in dual vocational training for more than 10 years. 

Year after year, our pastry chef and baker trainees prove their excellence in national competitions, winning lots of awards. At Sirha our students will present the new products on display, under the guidance of our vocational training colleagues.

We will be presenting our new products at a 30m² stand at the exhibition. With over 50 years of experience and continuous innovation, Bonduelle Food Service is committed to promoting plant-based nutrition.

The SIRHA trade show will offer plenty of inspiration for the industry, as we have lots of new products to showcase. These include our vegetable purées, patties and some of the latest innovations in the savoury roasted product line.

We are introducing the rustic Home Made and Tempura mixes too.

 

A salt show

We will be there at Sirha with a nearly 100m² stand. The central theme of our stand will be salt and we are going to present it with a seaside beach house atmosphere. Among other things, we will be showcasing our latest salt specialities, meat-free ready-made meal bases (which offer a quick solution to the vegetarian challenges of the HoReCa sector), plus an exciting beverage collaboration – obviously made with Kotányi spices.

We are preparing for the 2026 Sirha trade show with a Free-from Only collective stand. There will be 12 co-exhibitors on 108m², but we can accommodate up to 16 exhibitors if there is greater interest. We would like to give a taste of the constantly evolving free-from food market. Exhibitors will bring a wide range of innovative, award-winning products. The Free-from Chef of the Year competition will also take place in three categories.
