Four Hungarian Nominees for the GlobalShop trade show
For the first time, this year POPAI Hungary Association – with the sponsorship of Zewa and SPAR – organised the POPAI Student Design Awards. This competition followed in the footsteps of Essity Hungary Kft.’s Zewa Designer 1.0 and 2.0, held in 2017 and 2018. The national winners will represent Hungary at the world competition Shop! Global Awards in the Student Design category. Winners will be announced at the GlobalShop trade show in Chicago in June.
The POPAI Student Design Awards competition’s overall winner was a display by Kitti Butter, with which she won a HUF 80,000 SPAR gift card. ‘Zewa Pink Power X’ was manufactured by Essity and it debuted with great success in the Future Store at the Sirha Budapest trade show.
POPAI member companies decided that the professional public choice award should go to – together with a HUF 50,000 gift card – Éva Anna Magyari for her interactive solution that demonstrates the efficiency of wiping.
The jury gave the sustainability special award and a HUF 50,000 SPAR gift card to Enikő Juhász, who designed a multi-use display for kitchen towels from cardboard and wood, called Fabricate.
Essity’s first prize and a HUF 50,000 gift card from SPAR went to Boldizsár Rajkai, for his rotating display for the different Zewa Quick Pack designs.
