Inflation has moderated
Consumer prices rose an average of 0.5 percent in a month.
Annual inflation slowed from the previous month, with an average annual rise of 5.3 percent in June.
The seasonally unadjusted, original core inflation was 3.5 percent in July compared to the same month of the previous year, which does not include changes in the prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products according to the new methodology of the KSH. Core inflation also slowed from 3.8 percent in June. (MTI)
