Can the supply chain in the food industry be shorter
Nutrition, food safety, ecological footprint and reduction of food loss: all arguments would be in favor of locally produced food. Hungary is still lucky in this respect, but in much of the world it is not feasible to shorten the supply chain in the food industry – hvg-hu wrote.
At three in the afternoon, grocery stores that “favor imported goods to maximize their daily income,” should be closed – the National Chamber of Agriculture said recently. So far, the government has not dared to deal with chain stores, but several heads of the Ministry of Agriculture have spoken about that in the current period, it would be especially important to put Hungarian products on the shelves.
