Magazine: Restaurant tours
The Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) started a series of culinary tours four years ago. These trips are perfect for learning new things, establishing new relationships and having fun. Trips are usually organised once a month and the last one in mid-March took participants to Kálmán Kalla in Sümegpága. Mr Kalla retired from the famous Gundel restaurant and treated MVI members to a splendid lunch. Back in February members visited the Stand restaurant in Budapest, where Szabina Szulló and Tamás Széll were cooking for them. MVI’s Facebook pages regularly publishes photos and reports about these culinary trips. MVI’s secretariat is happy to get in touch with anyone who wishes to participate in the trips.
