Half of the employees would change, and almost a third of the job seekers would leave their careers
On the domestic labor market, almost every second employee is looking for a new job or is waiting for a good opportunity to come his way and change. Nearly a third of job seekers would leave the industry they are currently working in together with their job, and when choosing a job, the salary and location are the main factors, as opposed to professional ambitions.
Profession.hu prepared its quarterly representative research, in which it examined job search habits. The national survey revealed that almost every second Hungarian worker between the ages of 18 and 65 can be a potential candidate for companies looking for employees. In addition to active jobseekers (12%), passive jobseekers (36%) are not negligible opportunities: they are the ones who do not go after the advertised jobs, but are especially open to a good offer.
Half of those who are currently looking for a job do not limit their options only to the sector in which they currently work or have worked most recently, but also inquire about available positions in other fields. Almost a third of them (30%) would change their career and specifically browse job advertisements in other sectors.
