Online shops: a new No.1
After four years there is a new No.1 among online shops in Hungary: sales data from 2018 show that eMAG is the biggest player now, ahead of the former 1st-placed Extreme Digital; Media Markt finished third in the ranking – reported GKI Digital. The combined net sales of the Top 10 in the list of GKI Digital were HUF 150 billion, with more than 5 million transactions realised. From online FMCG retailers only TESCO made it to the Top 10 in 2018, but this can change in the near future – Auchan Online, G’Roby, Prima Online and SPAR Online are all competitors now in the segment. //
