A new drugstore chain has appeared in Hungary, it is already very popular
The aim of the Czech Pilulka.hu is to be the number one online drug store in Hungary, also available via mobile application.
According to the announcement, the Czech online pharmaceutical retail and mail-order company, founded in 2013, will start its operations on the Hungarian market with more than 6,000 products and is preparing to compete with the largest drugstore chains.
In accordance with Hungarian legislation, they do not deal with the delivery of prescription or over-the-counter medicines. They build on the most popular brands in Hungary, and in the future the company may also launch its own brand of dietary supplements, they wrote. Customers can place orders online and on the Pilulka mobile application. According to their plans, it will be possible to schedule the delivery for a specific period in the future. The operation will be based on the logistics and stock of the Slovak subsidiary, while in Hungary they will be present with a commercial, marketing and customer service department.
This approach provides us with enormous flexibility and efficiency in adapting our services and products to consumer needs. We would like to launch a similar model in Austria within a few weeks
– said CEO Petr Kasa.
