The EU issued more than two thousand alerts for dangerous products last year
The EU issued more than two thousand alerts for dangerous products (consumer protection) last year. Nearly two-third of the products came from China – the European Commission announced on its website on Monday.
More than quarter of the alerts were received for toys, followed by apparel and fashion products with 17 percent. In terms of the type of the dangers, chemical risks were the most common with 25 percent, followed by the risk of accidents with 22 percent. (MTI)
