Millions of cardiovascular deaths can be caused by low fruit and vegetable intake
Millions of deaths in the world can be caused by cardiovascular diseases each year, which may be due to the low intake of vegetables and fruits.
The first results of the study were presented at the annual conference of the American Society for Nutrition in Baltimore – the Phys.org portal wrote.
Scientists estimate that in the world one out of seven cardiovascular deaths can be caused by inadequate fruit and one from twelv by low vegetables intake. (MTI)
