SPAR: progress in every area
SPAR Magyarország closed 2018 with an almost 10-percent sales increase. The company invested HUF 32 billion in building 6 new stores and modernising another 17 last year.

Sales of the franchise network reached HUF 36 billion and the turnover of the Regnum meat processing plant was HUF 36.4 billion. Managing director Gabriella Heiszler told that the most important step forward had been opening the SPAR enjoy.convenience production facility, where mayonnaise-based salads and sandwiches are made. Shoppers can already choose from 2,700 private label products in SPAR stores. At the end of 2018 the SPAR chain consisted of 348 SPAR and City SPAR supermarkets, 33 INTERSPAR hypermarkets and 174 franchise stores. Sales by the company augmented by 9.8 percent at 617.6 billion. The store modernisation project continues in 2019. //
