Record amounts of corn harvest in the United States
According to the most recent datas of the U.S. Ministry of Agriculture a record corn harvest and decrease in prices are expected.
The projections show that the corn harvest this year, will be up to 12.8 billion (a bushel is approximately 35 liters). This year's outstanding harvest will counterweigh the losses from the smaller area sown.
The price of the bushel of corn started to fall because of the news in the Chicago exchanges. The crop prices this year have already fallen 20 percent – reports Napi Gazdaság.
