Practice rights and market protection
According to László Kovács, president of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI), practice rights should be applied in the hospitality sector, just like in other trades. This way it would be possible to introduce territorial limitations and market protection for the catering profession. There have been non-restaurateur investors in the sector before, but now that the hospitality trade has weakened due to the pandemic, they can cause great damage to restaurant owners suffering financially from the pandemic-induced revenue loss. //
