The discounter chain continues its store modernisation programme, focusing on energy efficiency, environmental consciousness and shopping experience. It is a priority for Penny Market to work together with Hungarian suppliers and farmers – as it is indicated by the chain’s Retail Award of Excellence for Hungarian Products prize too.
Penny Market also pays special attention to the well-being of workers. The discounter has managed to build a strong team with good work conditions that employees want to stay part of in the long run. Penny Market has been supporting initiatives for the benefit of the society for years. Via the Together for Children with Cancer foundation they regularly donate money and equipment to several hospitals, and the chain also cooperates with the Hungarian Food Bank Association. //
