The EU’s and the euro area’s retail increased in October
Retail sales increased in October both in the euro zone and in the European Union.
The EU's statistical office (Eurostat) on Monday announced that, according to the seasonally adjusted data, the volume of retail sales in the 19-member eurozone increased by 1.1 percent, while in the European Union the growth was 1.2 percent in October, compared to the previous month.
In Hungary retail sales increased by 2.6 percent annually. (MTI)
