Nielsen: we fight against aging for five billion a year
The market for facial skin care products is booming: Between April 2018 and March 2019, it generated a turnover of five billion forints, mostly in drugstores.
In addition to the 9 percent increase, the volume of products with anti-wrinkle / lifting effect increased by 3 percent, covering 865,000 liters of cream, serum or oil. Women are most likely to be attracted to brands against aging: nearly ninety percent of value sales are branded – according to Nielsen’s retail index. (Nielsen)
