The barbecue season brings billions of HUF in turnover
The barbecue season is a billion HUF business. The demand also grows towards related food and non-food products – origo wrote after Világgazdaság.
The annual turnover of grilled sausages, spices and cheese exceeded 3.5 billion HUF last year, and the chains told Világgazdaság that they are expecting further growth this year.
More than a thousand tons of grilled sausage, 695tons of spices and 290 tons of cheese were sold nationwide last year – according to the data of the Nielsen Market Research Company. (vg.hu, origo)
