How loyal are we to our favourite grocery stores?
According to a nationwide representative study by Kantar Hoffmann (March 2017, 18-64 year old consumers), when buying FMCG products, most people visit stores located close to where they live. Half of the respondents said they only go to a shop that belongs to a different retail chain if they can get there just as comfortably. 16 percent of adults like to visit TESCO stores, no matter where they are; at the same time only 5 percent said they would never shop there. 11-11 percent said the same thing about REÁL shops and LIDL discount supermarkets; 2 percent was the proportion of respondents who would never shop in REÁL stores and 6 percent said the same thing about LIDL stores. //
