Retailer of the Year was open to shops with a design that best fits the sales concept, a store design that harmonises the interior and exterior appearance, the presentation of the goods, the staff, the service and the target group – and a communication that reflects this. There was no restriction as regards the profile of the shops. Nearly forty entries were evaluated by the panel of professionals, but shoppers also had the opportunity to highlight their favourites with an award.
Three special awards were announced for the first time this year: the Nébih KMÉ Special Award for Sustainability by the National Food Chain Safety Office, the MARS Magyarország Special Award and the Trade magazin Special Award. The results were announced at the gala dinner of the conference on 26 September 2024, where a total of 22 entries were honoured.
