The Sirha Budapest has opened its doors
Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture emphasized the strategic importance of the food industry at the opening of the Sirha Budapest international food industry exhibition.
He recalled that the sector will receive 100 billion HUF support from the funds of the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme (GINOP) and and tax cuts will also continue: next year the VAT on milk, eggs and poultry, as well as the VAT on restaurant services will decline. 130 thousand people are working in the food industry, which gives livelyhood to hundreds of thousands of raw material producers as well- he stressed.
