KSH: the economy grew by 8.2 percent in the first quarter
According to raw data, Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 8.2 percent in the first quarter, compared to the same period of the previous year, according to both calendar-adjusted and other extraordinary and individual effects-adjusted balanced data, estimated by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

Hungarian economic growth explodes in the first quarter
Compared to the previous quarter, the performance of the economy increased by 2.1 percent – according to seasonally and calendar-adjusted and balanced data. In its latest report, the KSH improved the basis of the quarterly index, the indicator of the fourth quarter of last year, from 2.0 to 2.2 percent.
Almost all sectors of the economy contributed to the growth, but mostly industry and market services. (MTI)
