Hungarians support the reduction of cash
Sixty percent of the Hungarians agree that the shadow economy can be reduced in Hungary by increasing electronic payment solutions and reducing cash – portfolio.hu reported the latest Mastercard research.
The research has measured how consumers think about the phenomenon in ten countries in Central and Eastern Europe. More than eighty percent of the respondents in the countries surveyed expect governments to take action to combat against the shadow economy, but consumers are also willing to change their paying habits when they realize that they can also help to reduce abuses – Mastercard’s announcement wrote.
