Campaign against the use of plastic
There is a growing international trend that can help reduce the use of plastic in shopping malls. In contrast to the inhabitants of the northern European countries, for example, Hungarian customers can use about 450 nylon bags per year. More than thirty retail units have joined the latest campaign of the Association of Hungarian Shopping Centers.
As increased use of plastics causes more and more problems around the world, eco-friendly alternatives are becoming increasingly sought after. However, this trend has not changed the research finding that only 20% of global rubbish is made from plastic.
