He told: for Microsoft innovation means the democratisation of digitalisation. In his view the whole Microsoft story is one big democratisation process, therefore it has had a big influence on the world.

From Windows to ChatGPT

He told that Microsoft invested USD 10bn in the start-up Open AI, but the majority of this big investment wasn’t money, but huge computation capacity, without which ChatGPT couldn’t have been developed. The software is easy to use and like, so anyone can work with it even if they aren’t experts. One of the reasons why there is such a big hype around it is the help AI can give in understanding today’s fast life, and the innumerable impulses and correlations it brings about.

Tasks normally requiring days of work are completed in seconds

What is this and what does it do?

ChatGPT is large language model that was developed by OpenAI. Generative Pretrained Transformer (GPT) is one type of artificial intelligence , which can perform language tasks such as text generation, translation, asking and answering questions. Besides completing a bunch of human tasks, AI can also do work that would take hours or days in just a few seconds. It can prepare presentations, manage gigantic spreadsheets, transcribe Teams calls and summarize them, or subtitle foreign language audio. Péter Szabó’s advice is to change our mindsets, because we need to get to like AI and other technologies. There is great potential in them and we have to prepare for the digital future – because it is already the present. //
