Romanian retail started the year well
Romanian retail sales volumes rose 6.4 percent in January, compared to last year’s first month – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Friday.
The calendar adjusted value indicates a 6.2 percent increase. The increase is mainly due to the 15.5 percent increase in fuel sales, while the sales of non-food products grew by 5.8 percent, the sales of food products, drinks and tobacco increased by 2.6 percent. (MTI)
