Cell-based chocolate may come
Origo reports after Storeinsider, that researchers at the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich were using a bioreactor to create “laboratory chocolate.”
Based on the current outlook, the growth in global demand for chocolate remains unstoppable. Although the 138 billion USD (41.9 thousand billion HUF) market for popular sweets is no longer small, according to some experts, its value may exceed 200 billion USD (60,000 billion HUF) by 2028. (origo)
