The joint project of PICK and MOME is presented in TASTE-MEMORIES-PICTURES
PICK and the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts (MOME) will jointly revive the salami memories of our generations with a unique exhibition that opened in May. The campaign related to the joint art project, spanning nearly half a year, runs between March and July. The two long-standing, iconic brands announced the collaboration in March, at the same time as the illustrations of the two contemporary graphic canvas bags commissioned by PICK were presented.
At the request of PICK, MOME alumni and current graphic design students created works on the topic “Salami memories of our generations”, also related to their own taste memories. In May, a free exhibition of these graphics was opened in the cultural main street of Újbuda, in the BBBKultPont Gallery and Community Space, which can be visited for 10 days between May 9 and 18.
At the exhibition, in addition to the collection of 24 taste memory graphics, the exhibition will be guided by László Herbszt, multiple Graphic Design and Golden Drawing Award-winning graphic artist, and the presentation of food designer and theoretical expert Angéla Góg will help you to deepen your understanding of the relationship between flavors and memories. After that, during the summer, the works will be presented in Szeged, PICK’s salami hometown, and in a busy downtown street in Budapest. The promotion of the exhibition has been taking place since April 28, and the communication will follow the entire journey of the exhibition.
