MBH Bank – The biggest merger in Hungarian banking history

She told that the first step of the process was the merger of Budapest Bank and MKB Bank, back in March 2022. They decided to use a new name to emphasise that a completely new bank is being built, with a dynamic and modern image. This meant that all branches and their communication platforms had to be redesigned.
One of the biggest changes for MBH Bank’s customers is the new look of branches; 23 of these have already been redesigned at the first weekend in May, and in mid-May they opened the first fully renovated branch in Miskolc. By the end of the year, all branches will be rebranded and 30 branches will be completely refurbished. As for the new bank’s online platform, it was up and running with the new look on 1 May. MBH Bank has started replacing bank cards: 25 new designs are available and the process will be gradual.
Recently they have inaugurated the first MBH Digital Zone on the campus of the University of Miskolc, where you can open a bank account with the help of the all-in-one remote digital customer service solution. In the third quarter of 2023, a unified mobile application will be launched.Ms. Pataky underlined, this is just the beginning, as there are much more plans in the pipeline. //
