The European Commission has published its winter economic forecast for the European Union as a whole and for each Member States.

In the recent assessment of the economic and financial directorate-general of the Brussels-based body (EcFin), it was pointed out that Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased again by 3.8 percent last year, following the stagnation of growth in 2016, which was due to strong domestic demand.
