Similar to the previous years, Hong Kong proved to be the world's freest economy again. The United States is the tenth, Hungary is the seventeenth on the list of the Cato Institute.

Since the start of the survey, for fifteen years Hong Kong leads the list of the world's freest economies – shows the survey of the Washington-based Cato Institute.

Compared to the previous classifications Hungary improved ten places to the seventeenth becaming competitive in participating opportunities in international trade – reports MTI.
