Household chemicals and cosmetics: lower sales concentration
In the first half of 2015 value sales of household chemicals and cosmetics grew 6 percent to HUF 170 billion, while volume sales stayed put. Stores with a floor space of 201-400m², 51-200m² and drugstores realised higher value sales than in the base period (January-June 2014). At the same time the share of 50m² and smaller shops from sales reduced considerably. Stores bigger than 400m² and drugstores were responsible for 86 percent of value sales in the first half of the year; however, this proportion was 1 percentage point smaller than in the base period.
