Nielsen: the sales of household chemicals and cosmetics increased by six percent in value
The retail turnover of household chemical goods and cosmetics was nearly 170 billion HUF in the first half of this year, which is 6 percent more than in the January-June period of 2014. In terms of volume, change did not occur – the Retail Index of the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company reveals.
Double-digit growth was achived by flush, shower gel, Kleenex, decorative cosmetics, toilet cleaners, as well as face and eye cream among the twenty most traded categories – Kapronczai Balázs, Nielsen’s client relations manager informs.
