GKI-Erste: optimism vanished in February
The business expectations decreased slightly in March, after the ten year peak of February, while the consumer expectations sharply fall to the depths of last April. As a result, GKI-Erste’s new sentiment index, adjusted from the seasonally effects slipped back to a similar value of last summer..
In GKI Economic Research Company’s March survey, funded by the European Union, the GKI sentiment index, dropped back to minus 10.7 points in March, after February’s minus 5.1 points. The business confidence index turned to minus: it became minus 1.9 points, compared to the 2.9 points of the previous month, while the consumer confidence index, decreased from the minus 27.7 points of February to minus 37.3 points – reports Profitline.hu, after MTI.
