GKI: The workplace situation of employees in July 2020

GKI Zrt. conducted a representative population survey of 1,000 people in order to find out how employees work in the period following the coronavirus pandemic. While epidemiological restrictions were still in place in the capital in early June, they were lifted across the country by July. 657 people answered their questions in June and 582 in July.

Compared to June, the number of people going to work increased significantly (from 67% to 73%), while the number of teleworkers decreased in parallel (from 20% to 14%). The share of employees working their jobs also decreased slightly (from 3% to 2.5%), while the number of people on paid leave (almost 1.5%) did not change. At the same time, the number of part-time employees increased by 2 percentage points, reaching 9% of employees. At the same time, the proportion of people taking unpaid leave has decreased (from 1.5% to 0.4%). The weight of those who spend their notice period is 0.4%. (GKI)
