The excise tax of particular tobacco goods will increase on 1 December
The NAV presents: the cigarette excise tax of cigarettes will increase from 1 December from 11,900 HUF to 12,500 HUF per thousand pieces and it will be and 31 percent of the retail selling price, but not less than 24,920 HUF per thousand pieces, instead of the former 22,300 HUF per thousand pieces.
For cigars and cigarillos, the tax rate remains unchanged; 28.5 percent of the retail selling price and for fine-cut tobacco, 52 percent of the retail selling price, but at least 12,460 HUF, instead of the formers 11,150 HUF. (MTI)
