Austrian Christmas retail sales defy with the crisis
According to the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKÖ); despite the slowdown of the economy, Austrian Christmas retail sales remain favorable.
The turnover of furniture stores and electronics stores increased the maximum extent (by eight and six percent). Austrians have spent five percent more on detergents fragrances, watches and jewelry, than last year. The shoes and sporting goods were less popular this year than last year.
