The volume of investments may improve slowly
The volume of domestic investments improved minimally by half percent, compared to the previous quarter, but still 6.4 percent below, compared to the level of a year ago. The situation may improve slowly.
A total of 48 billion forints worth less developments took place in the first quarter of 2010 than a year earlier. Furthermore, it was the third quarter, when – on an annual basis – decreasing developer activity was measured by the Central Statistical Office. In most areas the excess capacity reduction continues, the weak domestic demand is not favorable, for new investments – reports Népszabadság Online.
