This year's holiday bread and cakes were presented
This year's St. Stephen's Day Bread, the Cake of Hungary, the Sugar-Free Cake of Hungary and the Cake of the Army were also presented at the 20 August at programs heralding press conference in the Parliament on Tuesday.

Septe József, president of the Hungarian Baker’s Association stressed that 20 August for the bakers is not only the foundation of the state, but also the celebration of the harvest. In honor of the harvest, the product competition was held for the fifth time this year in which the winning spelt-sourdough bread was selected out of 45 entries. The thick-skinned bread of the Pedró Pékség Kft. made from natural ingredients, will be available in the stores after 20 August as well – he added. (MTI)
