Cake of Hungary 2025 semi-final
This year the Cake of Hungary competition is organised for the 19th time.

The theme of the 2025 competition is “Dobos Cake 140”, commemorating the 140th anniversary of the creation of this special Hungarian delicacy.

Better and better entries year over year
Competitors have to use the ingredients of the cake and at least two elements from the baskets of ingredients: spices indigenous to the Carpathian Basin, Hungaricum pálinkas or wines made from grapes indigenous to the Carpathian Basin, and traditional Hungarian fruits. //
