The European Commission has proposed a revision of the EU Council recommendation on the harmonisation of restrictions on free movement within the European Union, the Brussels body announced on Monday.
In view of the improvement of the disease situation and the acceleration of vaccination campaigns, the Committee recommends that Member States gradually ease entry restrictions, in particular for those who already hold a digital certificate certifying vaccination.
