The fundamental work on food safety in the domestic catering and food service industry is being updated: the review and updating of the domestic Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) Guide for Catering and Food Service has begun.

A working group, coordinated by the National Association of Public Sector Catering Service Providers (KÖZSZÖV), seeks to adapt the 2018 edition to the transformed legal environment, the latest technologies, and practical experience. The working group – which was formed on 30 January 2026 – includes Nébih, the Ministry of Agriculture, NNGYK, NKFH, as well as leading professional organisations in the sector. It is led by Anna Zoltai, the president of KÖZSZÖV.
