Austria is also debating on Sunday opening hours
The debate has been recurred over the licensing of the Sunday opening hours of shops.
Reinhold Mitterlehner Austrian Minister of Economy stated in the weekend broadcast of ORF; that he keep aloof to let shops to be opened on specified Sundays. The small part of merchants argue beside Sunday opening, while the majority of industry and the trade unions are opposed. The Austrian Catholic Church, strongly opposes Sunday opening – reports MTI.
