AM: this year’s grape harvest may exceed 4 million tons

Corresponding to an average year, more than 400 thousand tonnes of grapes could be harvested this year by Hungarian farmers, so it is expected that about 3 million hectoliters of wine to be produced.

Tarpataki Tamás Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) indicated that this year’s grape production is most comparable to 2017, lagging behind last year, which was 520 thousand tonnes. (MTI)
