AM: This year’s harvest ended with yield records
Feldman Zsolt announced that the farmers had harvested 8 million tons of crops on 1.5 million hectares, thus essentially completing this year’s harvest. The work of the growers was hampered by the rainy autumn and the cold spring, the harvest was delayed by 2-3 weeks. In recent months, the weather has caused damage to 180,000 hectares, and arable crops have been damaged mainly by drought and inland water, he added. (MTI)
