Dm invests in technological development, store network and employee training
Focus on supporting and training employees
Supporting employees and creating a high-quality working environment are key priorities for dm. In addition to stable financial conditions, employees receive various benefits. Regardless of their position, everyone at dm gets a comprehensive health insurance package and training opportunities are provided for individual development, with nearly 1,400 colleagues participating in such programmes in the past financial year.
Further development in omnichannel selling
The consolidation of country-specific IT systems into a single system in the 2023-2024 financial year was a real milestone from the perspective of dm’s future digital opportunities, standardising processes in all 14 dm countries. Customers also benefit from digital services, as dm plays a pioneering role in omnichannel retail. An important element of this is the dm app. Dm’s active beauty loyalty programme has more than 1.3 million registered members. Dm also keeps investing in its store network, e.g. in the 2023-2024 financial year 21 stores stopped using fossil fuels.
Social responsibility programmes will continue
Dm remains active in the field of social responsibility and wants to play an active role in the fields of women’s health education and menstrual poverty: the drugstore chain helped to create easily accessible information materials by financing the Budapest Medical Students Association, and supported disadvantaged teenagers and women with menstrual hygiene products in cooperation with the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta.
