The energy content of 100 g of tomatoes is only 23 calories. Moreover, it is more than 90% water. It is no coincidence that it is popular among dieters. The antioxidant lycopene in it plays an important role in fighting diseases. It is high in vitamin C, but also contains vitamins E and B, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Nice little energy bomb!

Of course, if we get a few kilos of tomatoes from Nagyi and we don’t know what else to use them for, let’s spend our more boring evenings at the end of summer canning them. It’s not as tricky as it sounds at first, there are many recipes where you don’t even need to pass it, but you can still make divine homemade tomato juice at home in the kitchen. And it will even come in handy with Christmas stuffed cabbage.
