Dunapack’s corrugated packaging is almost completely recycled
Almost 90 percent of Dunapack Packaging’s corrugated packaging solutions are made from recycled material and the same proportion of them are reused, the company announced in a statement on Tuesday.
It was highlighted: within the European paper industry, the recycling rate is 71.4 percent, and within this, the corrugated paper sector stands out, which is at the forefront of implementing the circular economy.Dennis Belkovsky, managing director of Dunapack Kft. Klaszter, said in the announcement that the products of the corrugated industry remain in circulation in the largest proportion among packaging in the EU: they have a recycling rate of 90 percent and an average content of recycled raw materials of 89 percent.
We have to think about products like the corrugated paper boxes from which we take the products on the store shelves, or in which the technical goods, furniture, and other durable consumer goods arrive at our homes – he explained.
